Also, for those of you don’t know, Witch has a MySpace page up so be sure to add them as a friend. You can download a copy of Soul of Fire from the album there to hear what you are missing if you have not picked up a copy yet.

Dave Sweetapple did an article for RoadBurn.com discussing the recording process for the Witch album. Read it here

What people are saying about Witch

{mosimage}

  • “Fact is, if there’s even a shred of heaviosity in your system, then Witch will please you like nothing else. Go ahead, crank it… and if you don’t immediately feel the urge to grow a scraggly mustache and invest in a fur-lined jean jacket, try checking your pulse.” – BlogCritics.org review from Zach Hoskins

  • “Witch conjures compositions that range from pounding charges to delicate eerie passages, invoking dark forests and fog-topped mountains. Their debut is a bubbling cauldron overflowing with intoxicating vintage rock. One listen, and you’ll be spellbound.” – mxdwn.com review from Steve Mangione

  • “This hard rock is meant to melt in your hands.” – Pitchfork – Brandon Stosuy

Witch will be at performing at the SXSW festival on the 18th with a couple more shows following that before J rejoins Lou and Murph for another tour of America Dinosaur.
